What data we collect

When you send the quote form: name, phone, email, company if you give one, region or location, and what you write about your project or the materials you need (subject, message, product, quantity, delivery location).

When you send the representation form: company name, country, what you manufacture, website and email.

With every form, as well: how you reached the site — the campaign or link you used, the first page you visited and the site you came from, without the full address of that site — and the date and version of this policy you accepted. The server also keeps your IP address for one hour, only to limit repeated submissions.

If you accept visit measurement: Google Analytics stores an identifier in a cookie and records the pages you visit, some clicks (calling from the site, downloading a data sheet, sending a form, changing language), your device and browser type, and your approximate location by country or region. It does not record what you type into the forms.

We do not ask for sensitive data — health, origin, opinions, biometric data — and we ask you not to include it in your message.

What we use it for

1. To answer your request: arranging the site visit, preparing the quote, answering your question about materials or assessing your representation proposal, and following up on that same request.
2. To learn how the site is used, only if you accepted measurement: how many people visit, where they come from and which pages are useful, so we can improve it.

We do not sell or transfer your data. We do not use it for advertising or to send you commercial messages you did not ask for. If we ever wanted to, we would ask you separately.

We do not make automated decisions about you.

Legal basis

• Forms: your consent, given by ticking the box before sending, and the need to answer a request you made yourself before a possible contract. [To be confirmed by the lawyer: which basis is declared as the main one.]
• Visit measurement: your consent, given with the Accept button of the measurement notice, which you can withdraw at any time. If you reject it or do not answer, nothing is measured and the site works the same.

Who we share it with

Only with providers that process the data on our behalf and under our instructions:

• HostingPlus, which hosts the website and FORGEA email. Forms are processed on its server and reach our inbox as email.
• Google LLC, through Google Analytics, only if you accepted measurement. Google processes that data on servers in the United States and other countries, under its data processing terms. [To be confirmed by the lawyer: the mechanism that covers this international transfer.] Advertising features and Google Signals are switched off, and we do not share this data with other Google products.

If you click the link to our Instagram account, you leave the site, and what happens there is governed by Meta's policy.

We will only hand data to an authority when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

When the period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Cookies and browser storage

You can change your measurement choice at any time with the Cookie preferences button in the footer. If you withdraw it, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser and stop measuring from that moment.

Your rights

Regarding your personal data, you can ask us for:

• Access: to know what data of yours we hold and why.
• Rectification: to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
• Erasure: to delete it.
• Objection: to stop using it for a specific purpose.
• Portability: to receive it in a structured, commonly used format.
• Blocking: to suspend its use temporarily while a request of yours is being resolved.

How to exercise them: write to CONTACTO@FORGEA.CL with the subject Personal data rights, say which right you want to exercise and over which data, and include what we need to identify you: your name and the email or phone you contacted us with. If you act on behalf of someone else, attach the authorisation. It is free of charge.

We will answer within [plazo legal: confirmar con el abogado].

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Chilean Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales).

How we protect your data

The site only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Requests arrive as email in an inbox with restricted access and are not stored in a website database. If a breach affecting your data occurred, we would report it to the Personal Data Protection Agency and to the people affected within the period set by law [confirmar con el abogado].
